Warranty and Return Policy
Terms of Sale
These terms, together with any invoice or written quotation issued by Ram PC Systems, constitute the entire agreement between Ram PC Systems and the Purchaser regarding the products sold and supersede any additional, conflicting, or different terms proposed in the Purchaser’s purchase order or other documents, whether issued before or after these terms, unless expressly agreed to in a writing signed by an authorized representative of Ram PC Systems. By placing an order, the Purchaser agrees to be bound by these terms.
Ram PC Systems 30-Day Return Policy
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it to Ram PC Systems within 30 days of the original invoice date for a refund of the purchase price, less shipping charges and any applicable restocking fee. Returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15% of the purchase price, at Ram PC Systems’ discretion. All returned hardware must be undamaged and in as-new condition, and in the original packaging. Shipping costs are not refundable, and we are not responsible for return shipping costs. Systems built to a completely custom specification outside the standard configuration options available on our website may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%, or may be non-returnable in whole or in part, at Ram PC Systems’ discretion. The Purchaser will be advised of any such restriction prior to purchase.
One-Year Limited Warranty
All Ram PC Systems products are covered by a one-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of the original invoice, unless otherwise stated.
Ram PC Systems will, at its option, repair or replace products that are determined by Ram PC Systems to be defective during the warranty period.
If a replacement component is no longer available or has been discontinued, Ram PC Systems reserves the right to substitute an equivalent component or offer an upgrade option. This limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, disaster, misuse, abuse, modification, alteration, or unauthorized repairs. It also does not cover defects or failures in third-party hardware or software, or compatibility issues involving products not supplied by Ram PC Systems.
Ram PC Systems reserves the right to charge for labor (minimum one hour), diagnostics, shipping, handling, and insurance if our technical staff determines that the product is not defective or that the problem was caused by the user, software, a configuration change, or modification of the product. Ram PC Systems will repair or replace products covered under this limited warranty that are returned to our facility. Replacement parts provided at no charge under this warranty are covered only for the remaining portion of the original warranty period. All replaced parts and products become the property of Ram PC Systems. Repair or replacement as provided above is the Purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of this limited warranty.
Customer Responsibility
It is the customer’s responsibility to back up the contents of their hard drive, including any data stored or software installed on the drive. Ram PC Systems is not responsible for loss of data due to storage media failure, or for any software, data, or other information stored on any media or part of a product returned to Ram PC Systems for warranty or non-warranty service.
If, during service, the contents of a hard drive or other data storage media are altered, deleted, modified, or lost, Ram PC Systems will not be held responsible. It is solely the customer’s responsibility to back up any software, data, or other information stored on any product returned for service.
Limitation of Liability
Except as expressly stated herein, Ram PC Systems expressly disclaims all warranties, express or implied, of any kind with respect to products sold on this site, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by applicable law. You agree that the sole and exclusive maximum liability of Ram PC Systems arising from any product sold on this site shall not exceed the purchase price of the product. In no event shall Ram PC Systems, its owner, employees, or representatives be liable for special, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages related to any product sold.
Governing Law and Venue
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the products sold shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas.
